Floored

A steward strikes an unusual bond with a raver admitted into the medical tent at a techno event. 

 

In Scotland, one of the few circumstances in which men feel safe to share their feelings is when they’re under the influence of alcohol and stimulants. This country has only recently emerged from a culture of knife crime and violence, and our central protagonist’s extreme guilt over his past is unfortunately something many will be able relate to. Our goal is to explore and represent the spaces in which men feel safe to express themselves as well as some of our common toxic characteristics and behaviours.

I worked as an editor on Floored. The film is being sent to festivals and is unfortunately not watchable online yet.
